Finally after being almost a week overdue our baby girl is finally here. Please welcome our 6th member of the family...

To our surprise she came into this world via c-section. Go figure the last three came early and delivered naturally with no drugs. Every birth is REALLY different I guess.

Our little prince didn't really pay attention to her much as you can see. He was playing with his Transformers. He's been pretty good so far. We shall see what happens later.

Today is the girls' picture day at school. Kaden decided to throw himself into the mix today and wanted to pose with his sisters. He cracks me up... he stands there and has the cheesiest look on his face.

As for me.... I'm still with my little bun in the oven. I was so happy that I made it to October but now I'm just super uncomfortable. I consider myself a beached whale! lol! Tomorrow I have a doctors appt so we'll see what she says. Scrapbook Expo is tomorrow too!!! Believe it or not I will be there, waddling around.... unless of course I have the baby!

1st day of school... part 1

Today was the girls' first day of school. Kylie is returning as a 1st grader. This year we are especially proud of Kylie because she tested so high on her STARS testing last year that she is in the GATE program now.

Kayla is in Kindergarten now. This is a big transition for her this year. We told her it wasn't about playing with her friends and toys this year. It's about learning things like reading and writing. She was a little overwhelmed this morning but otherwise she had good spirits.

Earlier this month we went to a 4-d ultrasound place to check out how my little bun in the oven is doing. I have to admit I was surprised on how the price has changed in doing these ultrasounds. I can remember when I was pregnant with Kylie and it was the newest thing...we paid almost $300 back in 2002 for what we paid only $100 for baby #4!!! (this included a DVD instead of an old school VHS tape)

Kylie was excited to see the baby. Kayla was a little confused. Poor thing has been watching those birthing baby shows on the Discovery Health Channel with me and thought I would be screaming in pain like the ladies delivering the babies. I had to reassure her before entering the room that none of that was going to take place. Kaden was more fascinated with the waiting room outside which had tons of toys.

I love the last one... there were a couple pics of her smiling. I can't believe she is almost here. Just a couple more weeks to go. I am at the point where I SOOOOOO UNCOMFORTABLE!!! stairs and pregnant women in their last weeks DO NOT MIX!!! Oh and did I mention we have settled on her name?!?! or least we think its going to be her name. This is baby Kassidy. Her middle name is still up in the air. I would like it to begin with the letter C so just like her mother PJ aka Patricia Joyce she can be called KC. :) any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I know that it has been eons since I have posted something new here but I hope I have not been forgotten. :) Last post was done in MAY!!! shocking I know... well alot has happened since then. Not only has school been out all this time but a birthday and an anniversary as well.

Kayla turned the big 5 back on June 12. and she will be started Kindergarten this fall.

Tod and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversay back on July 19. we didn't do anything fancy per my request. We just went to dinner at the Melting Pot. Super yummy!

Believe it or not I am already done with all the kids' back to school shopping. I got off pretty easy this year. Both Kylie and Kayla wear uniforms and Kaden is always getting new clothes because he is growing like a weed!

I have also begun the nesting period in my pregnancy. 29 weeks along and counting down. I have been super tired but that's what expected. We got the kids a new bunk bed and Kaden has graduated to a big boy bed. To my amazement he didn't fuss one bit about it.

I also recently started to chronologically put my scrapbook pages in order. I have been so bad with them. I scrap all over the place from the present to the past... so my books weren't looking so good. But now you can actually follow a book and it tells the story better. Here are some random layouts I have done. I have been trying to use things that I already have. So there isn't really any new product being used here. Oh but don't think I haven't been buying new stuff! I have a nice pile of yummy goodness that is dying to be used!

Sorry for the poor photo quality... next ones will be better. Well I hope this got everyone semi caught up with me. things to come... Kylie's birthday is come up. a day a Disney in the near future and maybe Sea World and Universal Studios. we are also thinking of buying a house near my parent's neighborhood. This is probably the perfect time to buy something around here but they are still pretty high. A one story 3 bedroom and bath goes for $799,000 over here! not to mention I have my eye on this 6 bedroom home that hasn't sold quite yet. I won't even post how much that one is! lol! but I think it's meant to be.

For those of you who didn't know already the hubby and I are expecting another baby girl in the fall! That's 3 little ladies and a babe of a son for me! I secretly deep down wanted another little girl. Little girls are so much fun to play dress up with than little boys. Tod was a little upset - what man doesn't have his heart set on another boy?!? Well now I joke around with him saying that we can try for a full house -- 3 of a kind and a pair!!! again we'll just have to wait and see. So get out your thinking caps and help me find a cute girl name that starts with a K!

I actually have been scrapping a little. Just a little here and there. I'm still trying to finish up the projects from Reflections. I find myself sleeping in my free time. Thank the heavens that Kaden will still go down for a nap! Here is a cute little mini book I have started but not have finished. I totally fell in love with the paper. I still have no idea what will become of it but it was just too cute to pass up! I'll try to post some layouts I have been working on too. Just need the titles and voila! I don't know about you gals but I find that I have the longest time deciding on the titles!

I know it's too long since I have posted something here but I was shocked to find out last night that one of my layouts that I had on display here was stolen off the wall!!! I circled the store over and over again -- looking to see if someone had just placed it on top of another pile of papers -- but sadly enough while doing a quick inventory around the store, i realized more layouts were missing!!! I am especially upset because it was the first layout I did of myself and for all I know the paper is pretty much sold out! Below is the layout the crazy lady took. I mean really people what is she going to do with it??? rip off my picture and put her own there??? or will she put it in one of her scrapbooks and pretend I am apart of her life??? what a weirdo!!!

A time to Reflect...

In just a couple of days I will be off to an awesome 3-day scrapping extravaganza!!!! Reflections is finally here!!! I have to admit I have not pulled out any of my scrapping goodies since February -- shocking...I know! Well now is the time to dust it all off and get packing. The festivities start early Friday morning and will end Sunday afternoon. Check out the special Reflections Blog to see some of the sneek peaks of what I will be making. I am super excited!!! Does anyone else have any fun plans for National Scrapbook Day???

Yup that's right .... I'm pregnant with baby number 4!!!! I have had really bad morning sickness and been very, very, very tired but I am now getting back to my normal self. This is why I have been so MIA over here. I barely told everyone on Facebook just yesterday!!! We broke the news to the ENTIRE family just this past Sunday - on my 30th Birthday!!! I have to admit I wasn't planning on telling my extended family just yet but I had to let the cat out of the bag when my very attentive cousin thought I was getting FAT!!!! I was like hold up wait a minute and don't go there -- it's all in my uterus!!! LOL!!! anyways ... can you believe it finally 30!!! and what's even more shocking is that I will be 30 with 4 kids under 7 years old!!! Right now I am in my 2nd trimester --- 14 1/2 weeks and due in mid October. We will definetly find out what this baby will be some time next month --- and yes we will be sticking with the letter K --- so get your thinking caps out everyone and help me out with another name!!!

no i haven't fallen off the face of the earth! i've just been preoccupied with LIFE!!! so much going on right now that i don't even now where to begin. dont't worry -- nothing bad -- just busy with the kids, me being sick, the kids being sick, spending more time with friends and family oh and did i mention me being sick constantly. oooh when will it end??? oh and this little thing called march madness has consumed everyone in my family! i also have been spending more time on facebook than i have on here. sorry... haven't been scrapping much either. shame on me! trying to get back into the swing of things. hopefully i'll be back soon with some scrappy goodness to share. hope everyone has a great weekend.

During the rainy weekend I got some scrapping done. My hubby said I was "a scrappin' fool!" I have to admit I was on a roll. I got a lot of layouts done. Yesterday after I picked up all three kiddos from school and made a field trip to this fabulous store to pick up some of the NEW Sassafras. They had an awesome mail day -- they recieved sooo much new stuff!

Well here's what I did with some of Life is Beautiful "ANTHEM". This is the first layout I've ever done with me!

I used Serendipity "Happy Place" for the next 2 layouts of Kaden. Can you believe he is going to be 3 years old in the next couple of weeks?!?!

I have to admit -- I thought I was pretty cleaver in the way I cut-out Kaden and placed him along the side of the bingo card. It looks like he's climbing over a rainbow.

Here's my little Sassarilla herself! These pics were from October. I am so glad I finally scrapped them. I used Serendipity "Sunshine Lollipop" for both of the girls' layouts.

And to finish things off -- My Kylie. She was the only one who enjoyed picking out a pumpkin. Kayla picked up a ladybug... Kaden spent most of his time in the wagon or towing it.... and Kylie and Tod were on a mission to find that perfect pumpkin!

Now I am off to play with some more of the new Sassafras and some brand new Maya Road!

100th day of school...

Today is Kylie's 100th day of school. I was unaware that they made such a big deal about it. All last week we worked on her 100th day project -- it had to showcase 100 things. I was really pleased on how it turned out. Kylie had punched out the circles and the butterflies and glued it all down. I applied all the bling. She tried but got frustrated trying to hold on to those suckers.

She also had also had a short performance this morning. All the kids had to wear a big "0" on their shirts. Kylie is at the very top left corner.

since I have done a post. This past week has been somewhat of a blur. On Saturday we had celebrated Tod's bday with the rest of family by going to a nice lunch. Saturday night I had a blast cropping with a bunch of gal pals over at the Scrappin Table. It was a fabulous Cupcake Crop hosted by Tammy I. Thanks Tammy again for being the ringleader and getting all of us together.This is us paying a tribute to "The Real Housewives of..." Instead of an orange, apple, or peach we have our delicous cupcakes made by Tammy herself!

Here's a layout I turned in to the Table using October Afternoon's Weathervane. There are some pretty cute samples up in the store and she's got new stuff coming in already!

Early Sunday morning we took a not so quick road trip to Sacramento. We got up at 4 am and left the house by 5:15 in the morning with all three kiddos showered and fed!!! pretty good if i do say so myself. The hubs had some stuff to do up there and we turned it into a little family getaway. Tod and I forgot to pack the lap top but I have to admit it was kind of nice not having it.

The only thing we really did is go to the Railroad Train Museum in Old Town Sacramento. It was pretty cool. The kids really enjoyed looking at all the big trains and then walking the streets of Old Town. And we also visited the state capitol building.

And of course while I was there I had to visit the local scrapbook store! Well it wasn't that local but well worth the drive! And it has the cutest name... Green Tangerines. If you are ever in Northern California I strongly suggest you stop there for a little retail therapy! But don't fret if you can't make it into their store you can see them next weekend at the Scrapbook Expo in Orange County.

We came back late Wednesday night and now things are back to normal. Not totally normal -- this out of control monsoon is a little too much for me!

Mid Week Recap...

I have been pretty busy around here considering I did not have the chance to go to CHA this year :( But from what I hear around the grapevine, I didn't miss very much. Pretty much the same old thing but I did miss Paris Hilton. She really was there.

On Sunday we went to the Staples Center to watch the Lakers vs. Spurs with his peeps from work. It was a good game - Lakers won of course. We had some great seats - actually we had a suite. The good food and yummy mimosas were flowing and as a added bonus to the game - if the Lakers kept the Spurs under 100 points the whole arena got free tacos from Jack in the Box. Well they did just that. It was funny to hear the arena chanting -- "we want tacos!"
This is one of my favorite photos because I like how I got the court in the backround of the shot. We tried to get the same effect for our shot below but it didn't come out as good. Can you tell that the person who tried to take the photo wasn't a scrapbooker??? Maybe I can photoshop the hubby and I in the shot above!On Monday I had all three kiddos home with me - all sick! Totally misery for me. Mommy - I need this... Mommy - I need that... Mommy I need you!

Yesterday was my hubby's 30-ish birthday. I surprised him with some treats from Dots in Pasadena. Super cute little place. Everything looked so yummy. I could not decide on which cupcakes to get so I got one of each! actually 2 of each - enough to go around the office.
Don't these look yummy?!?! they were almost too cute to eat!

And to finish off the evening we went to Disneyland to get his Birthday Gift Card. We were in and out of there - Kylie is still not feeling a 100%. Well that's it for now. Maybe today I'll get around to sharing some layouts I have done.

Tonite I had the pleasure of taking a class from the wonderful , talented, and sweetest lady -- Teresa Collins. I ventured off to the Red Bee after a jam packed day of running around doing errands. You will notice in the pictures below that I have a semi-new look -- I went back to my roots! Simply because I got sick of looking at my roots! lol! It's a little too dark right now but give it about a week, and hopefully it will lighten up!

This is the project we did. It is SUPER cute! And as a little bonus at tonite's class -- we were able to see her new lines that are debuting at CHA. She has some great new items coming out -- can't wait to get my hands on it-- oh but wait, I did!!! You can see some of the great samples with the new stuff here. The Red Bee had it there first!
Off to bed now -- the hubby and i are off to the Staples Center tomorrow to watch a Laker game. Those of you that are going to CHA -- take lots of pics and post them on your blogs!! I don't think I'll get the chance to go this year - no babysitter!!! I will live vicariously thru everyone else and pray for a miracle that I will have a least one day to go!

Reflections....

So this year for National Scrapbook Day I have decided to spend it with The Scrapbook Oasis who is teaming up with Freckle Friends and doing this awesome event called Reflections. I know that you all are probably thinking why am I talking about May this early in the year but before you know it - it will be here. Check it out and I promise you won't be disappointed! The great thing about this is that is a 3-day affair! What a great way to spend the weekend. I pitched this to my husband as my Mother's Day gift and he was all for it. Remember if mama is happy then everyone else is happy too!

I had a fabulous, fun-filled, over -the-top weekend! Saturday I finally got to attend the ultra fabulous Marie Soiree hosted by the hostess with the mostess, Kim Cald well. She ALWAYS puts on such a wonderful event. This one is my most favorite theme yet. Candice Carpenter was the instructor for the day. We created a larger than life Marie Inspired Journal that I will personally use as a mini-scrapbook of the event! Everything was so beautiful and over the top with the lovely centerpieces, the decor, the fresh flowers, the food, everything. I can seriously go on and on. Here are just a couple of pics from the event.

I'll be back later to post more from the event. The swaps were AMAZING! This was such a large group of talented ladies. I love to be in good company! Oh my gosh and before I forget the macaroons and madelines were actually from France! Can you believe it?!?! I still can't believe it! My gal pal Val --(hey that rhymes) she loves to travel - she went to France just a couple months ago and provided us with alot of authentic things for our class and she had the desserts overnighted from France! She's wonderful and also my Wand Swap partner! Ooh I wish she had a blog. if you are reading this Val - you need to start one! Anyways... ta ta for now!
